Abu Dhabi International Oil Exhibition 2018

The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exposition ( ADIPEC ), which was first held in 1984, has now developed into a professional exhibition with a large scale and influence in the Middle East and a ranking of oil and gas exhibitions in the Middle East, Africa and the Asian subcontinent. It is also the world's third largest oil exhibition, showing the world new products, technologies and services in the field of oil and gas. Abu Dhabi Oil Exhibition has been held every two years since it was held in 1984. Since 2013, the number of exhibitors has increased continuously.

 

On November 12, 2018, Beijing time, the 21st Abu Dhabi International Oil Exhibition ( ADI PEC ) was held at Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center. More than 100 ministers and business executives attended the exhibition, and 2200 businesses from 120 countries participated to study the future of the oil and gas industry.

The exhibition covers an area of 155,000 square meters, an increase of 15 % over last year. The number of national exhibition halls has increased from 26 last year to 31, and the number of exhibitors is expected to increase from 102,000 last year to 110,000. This exhibition mainly focuses on the technical field of oil and gas industry, especially the role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in oil and gas exploitation, improving operation efficiency and supervising production. Its main exhibition equipment is mainly mechanical equipment: oil well equipment, welding technology and equipment, separation equipment, oil tank equipment, lifting equipment, ventilation equipment, impellers, instruments and meters, various metal pipes and rubber hoses and their connecting devices, electric transmission devices, and their assembly, etc. The exhibition leader stressed that the global demand for energy is expected to increase by 25 % by 2040, and Abu Dhabi will continue to play an important role in the oil and gas industry.
